About GetCompliant

We have been building for the web since Internet Explorer 6 was still annoyingly popular.

About GetCompliant

We started GetCompliant after 20+ years of building websites and online stores for clinics, restaurants, agencies and retailers across Romania and the EU. We kept seeing the same pattern: the owner reaches out after a regulator notice, a consumer complaint or a sudden traffic drop. Every time, the first problem was obvious in a single scan: a broken cookie banner, a missing privacy policy, accessibility below the EAA baseline, or a site invisible to AI assistants. So we built the tool that runs exactly that first scan, automatically. Your site goes in, the report comes out, the fix list is ordered by severity. If you do not want to handle the fixes yourself, we handle them for you.

Who builds this

Over 20 years building for the web, from the days when PHP 4 and Joomla templates were the new standard. Hundreds of shipped projects, several proprietary CMS builds, and architecture consulting across Node, .NET, PHP and Ruby stacks. The technology behind GetCompliant, a two-pass Playwright crawler (pre and post consent), axe-core audits for WCAG 2.1 AA, deterministic scoring grounded in public ANSPDCP rulings, is written from scratch so it can be audited line by line.

How we work

  • Deterministic scanning, not interpretation. Each finding maps to a verifiable test: a tracked HTTP request, a failing WCAG rule, a missing DOM element.
  • Fine estimates come from ANSPDCP and ANPC rulings published in recent years, not from guesses.
  • The report stays valid for 7 days. We re-scan for free so you can confirm the fixes landed.
  • Everything the crawler sees is exposed in the report's detail panels. No black box.

What we do not do

We are not a law firm and we do not issue legal opinions. Our report flags technically verified risks, indicative sanction ranges based on public precedents, and concrete fixes for each signal. For legal interpretation or defending a case before an authority, you continue to work with your lawyer.
