Sanctions under ANPC
Under Law 232/2022, Romania's ANPC sanctions between 5,000 and 50,000 RON (~€1,000–€10,000) per accessibility deficiency affecting consumers with disabilities. From 28 June 2025 onward, new products and services in EAA scope that are not conformant can no longer be lawfully sold on the EU market. Complaints come from consumer associations and users with disabilities; ANPC must respond within 30 days.
